Biography

Tom  Buchanan is the Associate General Counsel of McDowell Rice and leads the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Construction and Architect/Engineer Law and Transportation Law Groups.

Mr. Buchanan is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.  He practices nationwide and has handled a broad range of litigation, including design professional and other construction litigation, professional liability, tort, insurance coverage and bad faith, environmental, commercial, employment discrimination, ERISA, product liability, trade secrets, tort matters, vehicle/trucking accidents and class action litigation.
